Not necessarily. The supply list is intentionally broad because every artist has different preferences and favorite materials. I have provided a comprehensive list, but you'll likely already own many of the items.

Yes! We have an excellent local art supply store, Artisan Santa Fe, as well as a Michael's nearby if you need to pick up supplies after you arrive.

Absolutely. Many participants order materials from Dick Blick and have them shipped directly to my house before the workshop. It's an easy option if you prefer not to travel with art supplies.

Artists use a variety of methods:Roll canvases and pack them in a golf or ski travel bag as oversized checked luggage.Carry paints separately in a carry-on bag (be sure to follow airline regulations).Ship supplies ahead of time if that's more convenient.Choose the option that works best for you.

Having a car is convenient, but it's not required. Many participants use Uber or other rideshare services throughout their stay without any issues.
