Join me and Bay Area artist and curator Carl Heyward for a transformative 3-day workshop in my Santa Fe studio. Fragments and Foundations is a deep dive into the expressive and richly layered world of mixed media collage.

Through hands-on demonstrations, individual guidance, and plenty of studio time, you’ll explore:

• The difference between mixed media and collage—and how they overlap

• Choosing and preparing surfaces and adhesives

• Creating and sourcing dynamic collage papers

• Incorporating mark making and paint

• Strategies for starting, composing, and finishing a piece

• Cultivating a personal approach to mixed media, developing your authentic voice in this medium

Whether you're new to collage or seeking to push your work further, this workshop offers a supportive and inspiring environment to experiment, take risks, and develop your visual language.
